Dashboard states
What the dashboard is telling you with each label, and whether you have to do anything.
Stream keys
Section titled “Stream keys”| Status | What it means | What’s expected of you |

| Streaming | Your feed is arriving right now | Nothing. You’re on air |
| No signal | The key is ready but nothing is coming in | Broadcast from your app; if you think you already are, see My feed isn’t arriving |
| Active | The key exists and can be used | Copy the publish URL with Publish |
| No subscription | That key’s subscription isn’t active | Check Billing and reactivate |
| Revoked | That key is no good for broadcasting any more | Use another key or subscribe to a new one |

Cloud OBS servers
Section titled “Cloud OBS servers”| Status | What it means | What’s expected of you |

| Starting | It’s being created and started for the first time | Wait a few minutes |
| Ready | It’s online and you can use it | Go in with Access |
| Waking up | It was off and you’re bringing it back | Wait a few minutes |
| Stopped | It turned off on its own after being idle, or you turned it off | Hit Turn on when you need it |
| Restarting | It’s restarting and the current session drops | Wait and go back in |
| Regenerating | It’s being deleted and created from scratch | Wait; you lose scenes, settings and assets |
| Retrying | We’re launching it again after a failure | Wait; if it fails again, open a ticket |
| Reactivating | It’s coming back after a suspension | Wait a few minutes |
| Suspended | The subscription isn’t active | Reactivate it from Billing |
| Deleting | It’s being deleted | Nothing |
| Deployment error | The start-up failed | See The Cloud OBS won’t start |
Failover channels
Section titled “Failover channels”| Status | What it means | What’s expected of you |

| Setting up | The channel is being created | Wait a few minutes |
| Idle | The channel is ready but you haven’t sent it a feed yet | Broadcast to its ingest key |
| Live | Your feed is passing through to your destination as-is | Nothing. You’re on air |
| Offline screen | You lost the connection and we’re broadcasting your offline screen | Get your coverage back; see Offline screen |
| Recovering | Your feed is back and we’re switching over to it | Wait a few seconds |
| Stream ended | You stopped cleanly, so we closed the destination | Nothing; broadcast again whenever you want |
| Suspended | The subscription isn’t active | Reactivate it from Billing |
| Error | Something went wrong in the channel | Open a ticket from Support |

One rule that covers everything
Section titled “One rule that covers everything”Suspended always means the same thing, on keys, servers and channels: the subscription isn’t active. It isn’t a technical fault and it doesn’t get fixed by retrying; it gets fixed in Billing. See Cancel and reactivate.
