Connect your Twitch, YouTube or Kick account

By the end, your streaming channel will have its broadcast key filled in without you hunting for it.

Connect an account

1. Go to Account and scroll down to Platform connections.
2. Hit Connect with Twitch (or with YouTube, or with Kick).
3. We take you to the platform. Accept, and you come back to the dashboard on your own.
4. The row is marked Connected, with your username: Connected as @yourchannel.

With Twitch and YouTube, the broadcast key is filled into your streaming channel right there. No more copying it from the creator dashboard.

Kick, for now, only connects the identity: it picks up your channel name, but you still type its broadcast key yourself under Account → Streaming channels.

If you change the key on the platform

Hit Sync on that platform’s row and we pull the data again.

If the row shows Needs reconnecting, the permission has expired: hit Reconnect and accept again. Until then we can’t read anything new.

The key field is locked, on purpose

While a channel has its key managed by a connection, the Platform stream key (optional) field won’t let you edit it: it says it is managed automatically, and the channel list shows the Automatic tag.

To type it by hand, hit Disconnect on that platform. The key already saved stays, and the field is yours again.

YouTube: create the stream first

If your YouTube channel has no stream set up yet, there’s no key to read, and we tell you so:

We couldn’t find a stream set up on your channel, so we couldn’t read the key. Create one and sync again.

Create the stream on YouTube and hit Sync.

Signing in with Twitch, Google or Kick

On the sign-in screen, besides your usual email and password, you can sign in with Twitch, Google or Kick. That’s only how you get in: it fills in no key and doesn’t replace the connection above.

If you already had an account with that same email, we ask you to confirm it from your inbox before joining the two ways in. That’s deliberate: it protects your account and your billing.

Not working?

• “You cancelled the authorization, so nothing was connected.” — you hit deny on the platform. Hit Connect with Twitch again.
• “That account is already connected to another EnhancedIRL account.” — that platform account belongs to another user of ours. Disconnect it there first.
• “The platform wouldn’t let us read your channel data.” — you left a permission unticked. Hit Reconnect and accept them all.
