Free trial

Almost every plan starts with a 14-day trial with a card; Stream Key Lite, with 7 days without a card. Nothing is charged to the card during the trial. The first charge comes when the 14 days are up, at your plan’s price, and only if you haven’t cancelled before. From then on it’s monthly, with no lock-in.

The trial is one per account for each type of product. There are three types: the stream key, the Cloud OBS and the vertical output add-on. If you add a product of another type, it comes with its own trial; if you subscribe again to a type whose trial you’ve already had, it’s charged from the day you subscribe.

Each type groups its plans: Stream Key Lite and Stream Key are the same stream key, and Basic, Standard and Pro the same Cloud OBS. So moving between plans of the same type doesn’t start a new trial, and a trial you cancelled early still counts as used.

The trial is also one per person: if you delete your account and sign up again with the same email, or open another account with that email (even with dots or a + tag added) or with the same Twitch, YouTube or Kick account connected, the trial of a type you’ve already had doesn’t come back. You can still subscribe, paying from day one.

You see it before you pay: in Plans, each plan tells you what you pay today. If you get a trial, You pay €0.00 today and First charge when the free trial ends. If you’ve already had it, the plan’s price and You’ve already had the free trial for this type of product, so you’re charged today when you subscribe. The server’s Vertical output card tells you the same.

Stream Key Lite can be tried for 7 days without a card. In Plans you see it like this: You pay €0.00 today, 7 days free, no card and If you don’t add a card before it ends, it cancels itself and you won’t be charged.

  • Those 7 days are the stream key trial: if you later subscribe to Stream Key, you pay from day one.
  • To carry on, go to Billing and click Add card on your subscription’s row. By adding the card you subscribe to Stream Key Lite. Before going to payment, tick the box asking for the paid service to start now (it matters for withdrawal, see below). Nothing is charged today: the first charge is on the day the trial ends. You keep the same subscription and the same stream key.
  • 48 hours before the end we let you know by email and in the bell (subject: Your Stream Key Lite free trial ends on date), and the dashboard reminds you at the top. All three tell you the date and the amount of the first charge if you add the card.
  • If you don’t add the card, the subscription cancels itself that day, with no charge. Your stream key stops working but isn’t deleted: if you subscribe again, you get it back.
  • With a throwaway email address, Stream Key Lite is offered with the usual trial, with a card.
When What happens
Day 0 You subscribe and use your full plan, free. In Billing your subscription shows as Trial period
At least 7 days before the first charge We send you an email, plus a notice in the dashboard’s bell, with the subscription that starts being charged, its amount, the date of the first charge and the link to cancel it in Billing (subject: Your first EnhancedIRL charge is on date). If you’ve subscribed to several products a few days apart, they come together in the same email. If you’ve already cancelled, you don’t get it
Day 14 First charge, at the price of the plan you picked, only if you haven’t cancelled before
From then on Normal monthly billing, no lock-in

The price is the one you saw when you subscribed: Plans and pricing. No hidden increases and no setup fees.

You don’t have to do anything. When the trial ends, the plan is charged to the card you registered and your invoice shows up in Billing. → Invoices and billing details

If you invoice as a company or as a freelancer, fill in your tax details before the first charge: an invoice that’s already been issued can’t be changed.

Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged anything:

  1. Go into Billing.
  2. On your subscription row, hit Cancel.
  3. Confirm with Confirm cancellation.

The confirmation window tells you first thing: You’re on the trial period: if you cancel now, you won’t be charged anything., and below it, the day you keep access until. Once you confirm, you’ll see Subscription canceled: you won’t be charged anything. You have access until date.

You keep using the service until the end of the trial; it just doesn’t renew. If you change your mind before that date, the same button turns into Reactivate. → Cancel and reactivate

If you signed up during the beta (up to 29 October 2026), your conditions stay as they were: your trial ends on 31 October 2026 and the first charge is on 1 November 2026, only if you haven’t cancelled before. The notice reaches you the same way, at least 7 days before.

Why ask for a card if the trial is free? So that when the trial ends you don’t have to do anything again if you want to carry on. Nothing is charged to it during the trial.

What if my card has expired by then? The charge fails, but nothing is cut off right away: you get a 1-day grace period with the service still working, we let you know by email and in the dashboard, and you can pay with another card from Billing. If you know it’s about to expire, change it before your trial ends. → If a charge fails

What if I change plan during the trial? The new plan takes effect right away and you’re not charged anything: the first charge, when the trial ends, is already at the new plan’s price. The Change plan window shows you this before you confirm and keeps the confirmation on screen when you’re done. → Change plan

Can I change plan once the charges start? Yes. From the first charge on, moving up costs the difference for what’s left of the current month, and moving down takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for, with no charge and no refund. → Change plan

Is the charge a full month? Yes: it’s the first month of the plan you picked, and from then on it renews every month until you cancel.

Can I have two subscriptions of the same type? No, and that’s a separate thing from the trial: you can only have one active subscription of each type at a time. To move to another plan of a type you already have, use Change plan. → Change plan

If you’re subscribing as a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract without giving reasons within 14 calendar days of the day you sign up. That period runs only once: the free trial counts towards it, and it doesn’t start again with the first charge or with each renewal. As the free trial lasts 14 days, the period and the trial end at the same time. With Stream Key Lite’s 7 days without a card, you subscribe to the paid plan when you add the card, so the period starts that day and the first charge comes while it’s still open: if you withdraw after it, we refund what you paid minus the part of the service you’ve already used, because when you added the card you asked for the paid service to start right away.

If you don’t want to carry on after the trial, you don’t need to withdraw: cancel before it ends and you won’t be charged anything.

If you withdraw within the period:

  • During the free trial, you pay nothing.
  • After a charge, we refund what you paid minus the part of the service you’ve already used up to the moment you tell us, within 14 days at most and to the same payment method.

To withdraw, open a ticket in Support with the Billing category and tell us you’re withdrawing. We’ll confirm by email that we’ve received it. If you subscribe as a business or a self-employed professional for your work, there’s no right of withdrawal.

Outside withdrawal, what’s been charged isn’t refunded except in a few cases: Is anything refunded when I cancel?

The full legal text, which is the one that counts, is in the Terms of Service. This is only a summary.
