• Key cap: the maximum bitrate you can send from your encoder.
• Output: the bitrate the Cloud OBS broadcasts to your platform with. Raising the incoming one doesn’t raise the outgoing one.
• Failover plans don’t come with a stream key: they come with their own channel, with its own ingest key and its own cap. See Failover.

What the table doesn’t show

• Every plan with a key accepts RTMP, SRT and SRTLA. You don’t pay per protocol. See Choosing a protocol.
• Between Stream Key Lite and Stream Key there’s one single difference: with Stream Key you can connect and control your own OBS from the dashboard and give it automatic scene switching. See Connect your OBS.
• Between OBS Basic and OBS Standard the difference is the remote desktop: on Basic that tab doesn’t exist and you control the server from the dashboard and with overlays. See Control from the browser.
• Assets: images, video or audio, up to 500 MB per file, and with the server online. The total you can store is the Storage in the table. See Assets.
• There’s no multistream: you broadcast to one destination.
• Cloud OBS is built to broadcast, not to record.
• Billing is monthly, in euros and with no lock-in.

When you change plan

These limits apply on their own as soon as the change takes effect: keys, bitrate caps, resolution, output and remote desktop become the new plan’s. The one exception is storage: if you move down a plan, the space you already had stays yours. See Change plan.

How to choose

1. If you already have OBS at home and all you’re missing is a reliable place to broadcast to: Stream Key Lite.
2. If on top of that you want to control that OBS from your phone and have it switch scenes on its own: Stream Key.
3. If you don’t want to depend on a PC at home: any OBS plan. Choose by resolution and fps.
4. If what worries you is the stream dying when you lose coverage: a Failover plan, which you can add on top of any of the above.

The dashboard wins

The prices and limits in force are always the ones you see in the dashboard, in Billing and on the plans page. If something doesn’t match this table, go with the dashboard and let us know.
