I can't control my OBS from My OBS

You opened your OBS in My OBS and the Control tab won’t let you run it, scene switching doesn’t start or your moderator’s widget doesn’t work.

  1. Your account has the Stream Key plan. Control, scene switching and the widget come with it. Moving the stream between OBS is free, but this isn’t.
  2. The plugin is version 0.2.0 or later. Each OBS’s version is in its ⋯ → Details menu in My OBS.
  3. OBS is open on that computer, with internet.
  4. The option is ticked. In Tools → EnhancedIRL Switcher…: Allow remote control from EnhancedIRL. It comes off.

If scene switching is Active but doesn’t switch

Section titled “If scene switching is Active but doesn’t switch”

That’s no longer a control problem: it’s almost always a scene name that changed in OBS or a threshold that doesn’t fit. See The scene doesn’t switch when the signal drops.

Open a ticket from Support in the dashboard or write to support@enhancedirl.com. Tell us the system, the OBS version and the plugin version (in ⋯ → Details) and the exact notice you see.
