The Cloud OBS won't start
You hit Turn on and your Cloud OBS server never quite gets ready, or it sits in a status you don’t recognise.
Check this first
Section titled “Check this first”- Give it a few minutes. Turning a server on isn’t instant. The dashboard tells you while it works: “We’re starting your server. This may take a few minutes.”
- Leave the page open. The status updates on its own; you don’t have to reload or hit Turn on again.
- Look at your subscription. If the server is Suspended, it isn’t a technical fault.
- Check you were on the right server if you have more than one: each one turns on and off separately.
What each status means
Section titled “What each status means”| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Starting | It’s being created and started for the first time | Wait a few minutes |
| Waking up | It was off and you’re bringing it back | Wait a few minutes |
| Ready | You can use it now | Go in with Access |
| Stopped | It turned off on its own after being idle (we warn you first through the bell), or you turned it off | Hit Turn on; see It turns off on its own |
| Restarting | It’s restarting; the current session drops | Wait and go back in |
| Regenerating | It’s being deleted and created from scratch | Wait; remember you lose scenes and assets |
| Retrying | We’re launching it again after a failure | Wait; if it fails again, open a ticket |
| Reactivating | It’s coming back after a suspension | Wait a few minutes |
| Suspended | The subscription isn’t active | Go to Billing and reactivate it |
| Deleting | It’s being deleted | Nothing to do |
| Deployment error | The start-up failed | See below |
The full list, for keys and failover too, is in Dashboard states.
Suspended
Section titled “Suspended”The dashboard says “The associated subscription is not active. Reactivate it to use the server again.” It always means the same thing: there’s no active subscription behind it. Go into Billing, reactivate or subscribe, and the server comes back on its own. See Cancel and reactivate.
Deployment error
Section titled “Deployment error”The dashboard shows “An error occurred during server deployment.” and “Contact support if the problem persists.”
- Wait a few minutes and reload: some failures recover on their own with one retry.
- If it’s still the same, open a ticket from Support with the server name.
I can’t even subscribe to one
Section titled “I can’t even subscribe to one”If, when subscribing, you see Unavailable and the message “No Cloud OBS servers are available at this time. Please try again later.”, it isn’t a problem with your account: there are no free servers at that moment. Try again later.
Still not working
Section titled “Still not working”Open a ticket from Support or write to support@enhancedirl.com with the server name, the
status you see and the rough time.
It turns off on its own and how to wake it and the Index of dashboard messages can help too.
